Being a HP prebuilt the power supply and motherboard are likely to shit themselves at any moment. I’d take it and transplant all the good parts onto a new motherboard, plus a new power supply and a better case. Are you willing to ship to Australia?

It’d cost a shitload to ship to Australia and it’s actually NOT a terrible machine at all just cause it’s HP. It’s a workstation class machine, not their dinky desktops. Everything is in pristine condition (except for the case, that has scratches).The 475W PSU is 85% efficiency and 80+ verified.

Just a heads up, you should probably designate whether it’s an 840 Pro or 840 EVO in there. Makes a big difference in warranty and rated MTBF.

Not really. My system is a Sandy Bridge I5, 6gb ram, and 2 hard drives. The lack of an ssd is one of the major issues. Where are you located? Maybe $300 with pickup?

7.2 due to gfx, no IDE ports (there is a floppy drive port but the gfx card is blocking). One free SATA port.
